OVERVIEW

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued its 2026 physician fee schedule (PFS) final rule on October 31, and it was not a treat. The rule makes critical changes to payment of importance to osteopathic physicians across specialties. This webinar will provide an overview of key policy changes finalized in the CY2026 PFS. Payment policy changes addressed include changes to the Medicare conversion factor, telehealth policy, and payment to support patients with chronic conditions and provide longitudinal care. The webinar will also discuss Quality Payment Program (QPP) changes, including updates to the MIPS program and advanced alternative payment model participation, and provide an overview of the new Ambulatory Specialty Model, a new payment model being tested by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. It includes many revisions and additions that may significantly affect your billing, coding, and delivery of care. Join Linda Delo, DO, and Gabriel Miller, AOA Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, as they go over the changes and explain how they will impact your practice.

Speaker: Linda Delo, DO; Gabriel Miller
