Catalog Course Description
OVERVIEW
AOCOPM has carefully selected timely topics that are addressed by evidence-based lectures. These topics were identified after carefully reviewing knowledge gaps identified in the data from the most recently available job task analysis and aggregated board scores conducted by the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine (AOBPM). The hours are divided and allocated equally to three divisions: Public Health and General Preventive Medicine (PH), Occupational Medicine (OM), and Aerospace Medicine (AM). Within each division, topics related to the specialty focus areas of Disability Impairment Medicine, Correctional Medicine, Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine, and Wound Medicine and Surgery are discussed.
