Recognizing and Dealing With Imposter Syndrome as Healthcare Providers
Description
Have you ever felt like you were not meant to be in the position you are in? Have you ever felt like the most unqualified person in the room? You are not alone. This phenomenon is called Imposter Syndrome, and it is more common than you may think. As healthcare providers, we can often face this feeling of inadequacy since we are surrounded by other high-achieving professionals. During this presentation, we will address the question, "why me?" and work through the feeling that we are not good enough.

Cassandra Holub, OMS IV

Cassandra (Cassie) Holub is a fourth-year osteopathic medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Erie. She currently serves as the National President of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association (SOMA). Prior to serving as National President, Cassie served as the Region 1 Trustee for SOMA on the Board of Trustees and was her local SOMA Chapter President. She serves on several committees and Task Forces within the AOA, Bureau of Emerging Leaders (BEL), and Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA). She is originally from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and is pursuing an Internal Medicine Residency this upcoming July. In her free time, Cassie likes to go work out at a Crossfit gym, play board games with her family, and go for walks with her dog, Tilly.
