OVERVIEW
This webinar highlights how osteopathic medical educators can effectively integrate AI and digital health into curricula using AOA Digital Health Innovation (DHI) principles. Attendees will learn the foundations of AOIA OsteopathicAI, explore how osteopathically aligned AI differs from broader healthcare frameworks, and see practical education use cases across curriculum design, assessment, simulation, and OMM instruction. The session also features select faculty development and assessment resources, including examples from Michigan State University, to support responsible AI adoption and digital health literacy.

OBJECTIVES
Describe the core digital health competencies aligned with AOA Digital Health Innovation (DHI) principles and identify actionable strategies to embed AI and digital health training across osteopathic medical curricula
Define AOIA OsteopathicAI, summarize its core requirements, and differentiate osteopathically aligned AI from broader healthcare AI standards and frameworks
Apply the OsteopathicAI minimum standard to common medical education use cases, including curriculum design, AI-supported assessment, simulation, and OMM instruction, to evaluate alignment with osteopathic philosophy and learning outcomes
Select and implement assessment approaches and faculty development resources (including Michigan State University examples) to advance digital health literacy and responsible AI use
